Assumptions
- Monthly cost = number of vets × the plan's published price per vet (or per user) per month, annual billing where the vendor shows it. Prices were checked on 2026-10-20 and 2026-10-26.
- Entry plans often cap notes per month (for example 100 records on CoVet Essentials). If your notes per vet go past the cap, use the unlimited column. Each plan's cap is in the grey text under its name.
- Not included: PMS integration fees, seats for techs or front desk, taxes, and discounts. Some PMS connections cost extra per server or per clinic; see each listing.
- "n/a" means the vendor doesn't publish an unlimited price. Tools without a published price, such as Talkingvet, are left out.
- Minutes saved is your own estimate. We haven't measured it, and no vendor figure is used.

Published entry plans start at $29 per vet per month (PawfectNotes), and some tools have free plans with limits. For a clinic, multiply the per-vet price by the number of vets, then add any PMS integration fee. Full price list.
How much time does an AI scribe save?
We don't publish a number because we haven't measured it. Time a few of your own notes with and without a scribe during a trial, then put your figure into the calculator.
