How to choose between them

Start with your practice software. On Cornerstone or AVImark or ImproMed, VetRec is the one with a confirmed connection. On DaySmart or Rhapsody, it's ScribbleVet. If you're on ezyVet or Covetrus Pulse or Vetspire or Shepherd or Instinct, both work, so look at how: a direct connection pulls in your schedule and sends the note back to the right patient, while an extension types it into the open record.

Then price it for your clinic, not per seat. Both include support staff on their main plan, so the bill is roughly vets times the per-vet price. Our ranking says nothing about note accuracy; we haven't tested either, so run both trials on the same appointments.
