VetAI Index compares AI tools for independent vet clinics. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any vendor listed here or any practice-software company.

How a listing gets checked

Prices come from the vendor's own pricing page. When a page loads its prices with JavaScript, we render it in a browser and read the numbers off the result.
Integrations come from the vendor's help center or integration page, or from the practice-software company's partner listing. Each one is labeled by how the note gets in: direct or built in, browser extension, or copy-paste and dictation.
Every claim links to the page it came from and shows the date we read it. The current data was checked on 2026-10-20.
If we couldn't confirm something, the listing says "unknown". We'd rather show a gap than guess.
Where two of a vendor's own pages disagree, the listing says so instead of picking one.

The raw data behind every page is public: tools.json.

What we haven't done

We haven't tested note quality. No ranking on this site says one scribe writes better SOAP notes than another; the rankings use connection depth and published price, and each page says so. Hands-on testing is the next step, and results will be dated and published with the method.

How the site makes money

Three ways, all disclosed where they appear: a featured slot labeled "Sponsored", newsletter sponsorships, and referral fees when a clinic books a demo through a tracked link. None of them changes a listing's data or its place in the table. Details for vendors are on the advertise page.
